Our 2012 - 2015 Special Campaign.
Pathways to Care, Environment and Education
You can be a part of our special campaign to support three areas of interest at Friendship Village of Columbus. First, building our Hardship Fund to $1M over the next four years will help to support residents who outlive their resources and are unable to pay their monthly fees. Cash gifts and estate gifts will grow the fund so that income can support resident always. Secondly, updating and replacing trees, bushes, and flowers around our campus perimeter will improve our environment for residents, staff, and neighbors. We are already ¼ of the way to our $100,000 goal and will start a new landscape along our Independent Living driveway as soon as February of 2012. As funds are received additional projects will begin. Finally, we have an initiative in place to build our Staff Scholarship Fund to $40,000 to help support staff who return to college or nursing training to further their education and help to insure better resident care here at FVC.
